O’Rourke & Kelly is merging with Simmons Wolfhagen Lawyers

O’Rourke & Kelly is merging with Simmons Wolfhagen Lawyers which is a state-wide law firm with existing offices in Launceston, Hobart, Kingston and Smithton. The new firm will trade under the name Simmons Wolfhagen and will offer a wider range of services.

In addition to the existing services of conveyancing, property, commercial transactions and wills and estate planning the merged firm will now also offer services relating to:

• Employment Law
• Building and Construction Law
• Family Law
• Personal Injury and Motor Vehicle Accidents
• Planning and Local Government
• Estate Litigation; and
• Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Simmons Wolfhagen is a wholly owned Tasmanian law firm, dedicated to supporting Tasmanians.

The office will remain at 20 Rooke St, Devonport and the phone number will also remain the same. Following the merger existing staff will continue as employees with the same staff having carriage of existing matters. The date of the merger is expected to be 1 June 2025.
